Description

The AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture or AUTOSAR for short is a global development partnership. Created by various players in the automotive industry, its objective is to create and establish an open and standardized software architecture for automotive electronic control units (ECUs).

This training is aimed at professional software developers, software testers and software architects who work in projects whose activities are based on the methodologies and approaches provided by the AUTOSAR standard. It is also useful for those working in IT but have no experience in automotive projects.

Andrei Rosu Automotive Software Engineer
Andrei has a great deal of experience in the Automotive field: electronic control unit (ECU) software development, software testing for automotive infotainment systems, R&D department for application specific integration circuits (ASIC) in automotive sensors. He also spent 4 years in the Industrial Automation field – System design, Writing documentation, PLC application and User Interface development.

He is currently working as a C Embedded Software Developer where he is responsible, among others, for developing and maintaining features in ECUs, requirement verification and tracking, module testing and integration testing. Andrei is also involved in mentoring and training new hires on CAN and LIN. His previous professional experience has included stints as a Software Tester and Digital Verification Engineer.

Andrei developed the curriculum 5 days intensive course and laboratory practices in System Verilog for ASIC verification. He was also a teaching assistant responsible for facilitating laboratory practices for 3rd year students and Master students.

He has a PhD degree in System Engineering fundamental research domain from the Polytechnic University Bucharest and a Master’s degree in Open System Architecture from the same institution. Andrei also has the ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
