On the 26th of March Luxoft Training hosted the monthly meeting of one of the largest Java communities in Bucharest, Bucharest Java User Group or BJUG for short. The purpose of BJUG is to create a community of developers in Java, Groovy, Clojure and other programing languages that use JVM. We were very excited to be the host of this event and we are looking forward to hosting some of their future events as well. Around 50 people took part in the meeting.
Each monthly meeting has two or three presentations by members of the community of various subjects related to Java. This month one of the presenters was Sebastian Andrasoni, Programmer for Luxoft Romania who talked about Infinispan, a data grid and distributed cache.
