Askhat graduated from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology with honors in 2000 and made a pretty common way from junior developer to project manager in a small outsourcing company. Later, when he joined Luxoft, Askhat as process architect was involved in implementation of traditional “heavy-weighted” software development methodologies in company’s divisions and oversaw the creation of Luxoft Standard Process. Thanks to one of the customers, he familiarized with Agile. New development technique proved to be extremely effective. Askhat has taken part in several Agile projects.
In 2006 Askhat started implementing agile technologies in Luxoft divisions. In March 2006 he founded agile movement AgileRussia. In 2008 Askhat together with his partner Nikita Filippov founded ScrumTrek, company that provides consulting and trainings and facilitates the shift to agile methodologies.
